Recently on the UConn campus those crazy and rude street preachers showed up. They totted around signs saying "Evolution is a lie" and proclaimed such. Professor James Booster, who teaches Anthropology, wasn't having any of it.
Shouting rather close to the street preachers Booster asked if the man had ever read Origin of Species. I assume the answer was no since Booster next stated that he had read the bible.
Many Atheist seem to be disagreeing with Booster due to his methods in speaking to these wack jobs. The biggest problem -in my own opinion- is that Christians are now calling him the real life version of Professor Jeffery Radisson from God's Not Dead. Adding to the love for that movie which is already beyond ad nauseum. I think Booster could have reacted a little calmer. He didn't convince anyone with his words even though he's correct. I believe Booster had the idea but didn't so much execute it perfectly. If he was calmer his words would have had a lot more affect and we wouldn't have to deal with the God's Not Dead crowd.
