Jayden Sink decided she wanted to have a lemonade stand this summer but She wanted to have it at the Equality House, the little rainbow colored house that sits right across the street from the hatful Westboro Baptist Church as a form of protest. And all of the proceeds went to Planting Peace the group who owns the Equality House. "As we all know, the Westboro Baptist Church puts a lot of hate into the world," Jackson, Jayden's father, told HuffPost in an email. "Since we cannot stop them, the next best thing is to smother it with love. That is what 5-year-old Jayden accomplished today! Jayden set up a lemonade stand in front of the church. Not only did she quench the thirst of a lot of loving supporters, the money she raised was donated to Planting Peace so she could help Planting Peace promote a more peaceful world."
During the event though of course the "church" tried to shut down the protest. They supposedly tried to call the police and when that didn't work they started to shout repulsive dribble. They even called a group of soldiers who rode in on their motorcycles a bunch of "bastards". I can't even understand these guys. I would state her age and say how wrong it is to start that around an innocent child but they have their own children hold up signs saying "God hates fags" and have two stick figures having anal sex. One young boy (at the time was 7) when asked who goes to hell said "gays , . . . fags, and hundreds of jews."
I must say though that Jayden's father is probably one of the world's best dads and also the most proud one. And Jayden is the sweetest most adorable five year old I've seen -apart from my own sister. I believe this is the best protest against the WBC I've seen ever. I wish I was able to donate to them sadly though I can't I do recommend you all to give what you can at www.crowdrise.com . I wish for Jayden, her parents, and her friends have a wonderful summer and that the WBC sees how insane their position is.
